We have had a couple of cooler days this week and it was perfect for getting out and taking a walk. It's not often we get cool days with normal humidity, so we went out to the Sunabe Seawall.
The sea condition was rough but apparently that's good news for surfers. There were about 60 of them all up and down the seawall trying to catch the perfect wave.
I thought this picture was neat. It is true Okinawan culture! This old woman was trying to catch fish and was preparing her line. As a side note, the older women do wear the big bonnet-like hats and those big saucer straw hats too.
We walked farther down than usual and thought this was graffiti at it's finest!
Kadena Air Base is a hop, skip, and a jump away from where we were, so we saw many planes and jets come in while we were walking. We always think it's neat to be there at night because the lights from the plane light up the ocean as they come in for landing.

Are there a lot of colts fans there? That is so crazy! But, but cool. A little slice of home, I guess!
