We found this guy hanging out on our back patio. I've never seen anything like him. His coloring was so neat and the pictures don't really show all the colors he had on his wings. So can anyone put a name to him or her?
Thank you anonymous! I typed in the name and came across other sphinx and hawk moths. There is another one that resembles it even more called the Oleander Hawk moth. This moth is native to Japan. I may just send a pic in to the Bugman and see if I get a response.
I think I'd be more creeped out by it than anything...of course, I'd ACT okay because I wouldn't want the boys to freak out. Gotta raise tough boys, right? :) HA!
Hi Megan! Just wanted to tell you that I have enjoyed "lurking" your blog. (Sounds creepy doesn't it!) I can't believe how the kids have grown up. I think that the last time that I saw you was at Scott and Tasha's on New Year's a few years ago---It's been a long time. I've wanted to say this for a while now--- "Are you crazy for taping that storm?!" that was something else. Anyway, I have been blogging regularly for about 2 months now. It's a fun way to keep friends and family updated! I love it. Take Care, Darlene

That's a pandora sphinx moth, I think.

Pretty cool.
The pics of Isaac on his bike are great. I hope he had a good birthday. I just can't believe he's 5! Man, time has flown.
Tell the chilins we said hi and give 'em all sloppy kisses for us. Love you!
