Yaejima Park

Every Thursday, the moms from our church who stay at home with their kids go out to a park. We have grown to love this time because one, we get to have some adult conversation and two, it's just lots of fun visiting all these different parks. This past Thursday we went to Yaejima Park. This is just one section of it. It had two rollerslides and two other playgrounds. It was huge. The kids loved this rollerslide and spent most of their time here.
I couldn't time it right to get Emma's picture on the slide. She's a sneaky one.

The trick to these slides is to sit on a piece of cardboard with your legs up and let your weight do the rest. Some of them are really long and even have these speed bumps that actually make you go faster. I'll admit, I did go down this one a few times. It was a blast!
It was quite a trek to get back up to the top of the slide. It wore the kids out! :)

Kris and Megan, Looks like you guys had a great day! The slide looks like it would be fun! Everybody seems to be having a great time. Wish we were there! Love Meemaw H.
