Thursday afternoon, we took a trip to Kadena Air Base and got to see the new F-22 Raptor. Isaac loves jets and it was an exciting time for him. We had to show our military IDs just to get in the hanger. The security was pretty tight. We could only take pictures from a certain point and no one was allowed to touch it. I felt like we were looking at the crown jewel of the Air Force. It was pretty cool though and I don't know much about jets.

Isaac and Daddy standing by the jet. The F-22's are only here for a month, so we felt very honored to get to see one up close.

Here is Emma standing by the 'Deadly Force Authorized' sign. I guess they knew we were coming!

Isaac asked a very important question during the short tour that they took with the Crew Chief. He asked, 'How do you get in the airplane?' I think for a four year old that's a pretty big question. The Crew Chief answered, 'They use a big ladder,' and then he showed him where they put the ladder and how they get in.

Isaac got to take his picture with a real fighter pilot!

Hello, I bet Issac was on cloud nine! He probably will remember that for along time. I know great grandma Brown would have loved that too! Love Meemaw H.
Hey Megan-
What was the name of the fighter pilot? I'm sure my brother knows him! Too bad you couldn't have said hello to him- he's in the States for a bit to see Josh and some other things. Boys and airplanes.... too cute!
