Last weekend, we got out our map and went on a hunt to find this park. It wasn't even a two minute drive from base. This island has tons of hidden treasures on it, we just have to get out and find them.
This particular park had an upper and a lower section with a rollerslide in between. The slide has rollers that the kids can go down on. Kris and I both went on it too. It jiggles your butt so bad though, it's like being on a really bad roller coaster ride. The kids liked it and Lily went down on it several times.
At the top of the park were ruins from the war and this incredible view of the base. There were several stone memorials but we couldn't read any of them. I wish I could read Japanese.
The lower section had swings and a jungle gym
