Little Man Yi has now become Big Man Yi! It has grown to be super typhoon strength which qualifies it as a category 5 typhoon. Wind speeds have surpassed 155 mph! The eye is projected by some weather agencies to pass over the island sometime today. In the image above the little hurricane symbol is sitting almost right on top of the island. In this satellite picture our little purple island is right above the eye. It's a little eerie seeing that the eye looks bigger than Okinawa.
In this picture you can see Okinawa a little clearer. We're doing great through it. Okinawa is made up of cement houses. There's not really anything this island can't withstand. The kids slept through most of the howling winds and rain hitting the windows. Some of the noises that this storm has made has been just strange and spectacular at the same time.
The only one freaking out about this storm has been our cat. Last night, she'd come up the stairs every half hour and meow at us. She eventually got put in her cage. :)

Poor Sophie, she was probably coming upstairs to meow at you so you would put her in the cage. they feel much safer there. I still can't believe that you have power. Some of the experiences you guys have had are just incredible. I'm glad your safe, I go thru alot of anxiety with you and Micah but God always comes thru.
